Privacy policy
How we use information when you check an area, contact us or arrange a call.
Who holds your information
South West Leads Ltd, trading as Living Proof Marketing, is the controller of the information you provide to us. Company number: 15080623. Registered office: 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Email: hello@livingproofmarketing.co.uk.
What we collect and why
If you email us, request a call, join an area waitlist or make a calendar booking, we use the details you provide to respond and manage that request. These may include your name, company name, email, phone number, postcode, services, PCA membership answer, preferred appointment time and correspondence.
Enabled enquiry forms also send the area postcode, place and availability result, our brand name, the page address and any UTM campaign parameters in that address. We use these to understand your enquiry, allocate it correctly and identify which campaign brought it to us. Please do not include sensitive personal information about your customers.
The hosting service may process IP addresses, browser information and access logs to deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate faults.
Postcode and area checks
When you choose “Check your area”, your entered postcode or district is sent directly from your browser to postcodes.io. That service also receives the technical information needed to answer the request, including your IP address. It returns location details. We compare the district with our area list.
The check alone does not send your name or contact details to us. The postcode, place and result stay in the page while you use it and are included if you later submit an enabled enquiry form or a calendar that supports those fields. They are cleared when you leave or reload the page.
Our lawful bases
We use information to take steps you request before entering a contract, and to provide an agreed service. Where you act for a company, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, arranging calls, managing area availability and keeping the service secure. We consider your interests and use only the information needed for those purposes.
If you ask to hear when an area opens, we use your details for that requested notification. You can withdraw that request at any time. Optional analytics and advertising tracking rely on your consent. We do not treat a call request as permission for unrelated marketing.
Who receives the information
Our website hosting, security and email providers process information needed to deliver those services. If enabled, HighLevel processes enquiry forms and calendar bookings for us. When a form or calendar is unavailable, please use the email link instead.
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are optional. When configured, they load only after you accept optional cookies. Google and Meta then receive the usage and event information described below. Their own privacy notices also explain their processing: Google and Meta.
Some providers process data outside the UK. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as recognised adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your enquiry details.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries and booking correspondence while we arrange and follow up your request. After that, we keep only what remains necessary for an active business relationship, a dispute or a legal record-keeping obligation. We review inactive records and delete or anonymise information when those reasons no longer apply.
An area-waitlist request is retained until we notify you that the area has opened, you ask to leave, or we close that waitlist. Client and accounting records may need to be kept longer under the client agreement and applicable legal requirements. Ask us if you need the retention period for a particular record.
Your optional-cookie choice is kept in your browser for up to 180 days. The area-check result is not stored by this page after you leave or reload it.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and ask for a portable copy where the law provides that right. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. Contact hello@livingproofmarketing.co.uk to make a request or raise a concern.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator. See how to make a complaint to the ICO. You can contact us first so we can try to put things right.
